The Company’s licensed patent rights cover a method of authenticating a user in an electronic transaction through a secondary verification channel — the architecture underlying modern 2FA/MFA implementations in payments and account access.
The patent family includes United States Patent No. 8,285,648, Canadian Patent No. 2,664,680, and South Korean Patent No. 10-1309594.
Verify Smart Corp intends to file formal correspondence with the USPTO to address the US patent's current status and to record the Company's position on patent protection in the United States. No assurance can be given as to the timing or outcome of the USPTO proceeding.
